As we wrap up an exciting year at Consult by FD, we’re reflecting on the milestones that have helped shape 2024 into a truly transformative year for our studio. It’s been a year of growth, innovation and building stronger connections— we couldn’t be more excited to share it all with you.
Innovation at Our Core
One of the biggest game-changers for us this year was the introduction of our interactive client dashboard. This new platform has revolutionised how we collaborate with our clients offering real-time updates allowing clients to track project progress, view tailored product specifications, and monitor their project budget with ease. This level of transparency has significantly enhanced communication and streamlined workflows, ensuring that every project is a success.
Streamlined Processes, Bigger Impact
With this new system in place, we’ve been able to streamline our internal workflows, giving our processes a much-needed "glow-up." The result? More efficiency, better outcomes, and—most importantly—happy clients. We’re proud of how far we’ve come this year, and it’s been so rewarding to see our projects flourish thanks to these improvements.
“We had such a great experience working with Fiona and Vanessa and would highly recommend them without hesitation. We worked with them to design a bathroom for our flat renovation. It’s a small space but we still wanted to achieve a luxurious bathroom feel. Fiona and Vanessa quickly understood our likes and dislikes and some initial thoughts for the project, but it was their experience, knowledge and industry links which meant they were able to come back to us with design proposals which brought these ideas to life - and enhanced them. Their customer portal - a website listing all the elements of the bathroom with choices for elements such as different light fittings - is a great idea so you can see the differences in style and prices before making a decision…We are due to start work on this in 2025 and can’t wait to see their efforts come to life.

Expanding Our Reach
This year, we were thrilled to be included on The List by House and Garden, marking a major milestone in our journey. A testament to our growing reputation within the global design community. We’ve also had the opportunity to connect with new suppliers and contractors who we’re looking forward to collaborating with in the future. The connections we’ve made this year will no doubt lead to even more exciting opportunities ahead.
New Projects, New Beginnings
In 2024, we completed five stunning new projects, each unique in its vision and execution. We’re proud of the work we’ve created as well as the clients we’ve had the privilege to partner with. As we move into 2025, our schedule is booked with several exciting new projects on the horizon.
On top of that, we have eight photoshoots of completed projects in the pipeline, so we’ll have plenty to share with you soon. We can’t wait to showcase the beautiful results and the amazing clients we’ve had the pleasure of working with this year. Also, this success would not be possible without the trust and collaboration of our incredible makers, suppliers and contractors.
Learning and Growing Behind the Scenes
We’re always learning and evolving here at Consult by FD. Our team continues to stay ahead of the curve with ongoing CPD training, keeping up with the latest updates to building regulations, party wall procedures, and all the other industry changes that help us stay at the top of our game. It’s all part of our commitment to delivering the best possible service and keeping our projects at the highest standards.
Looking Forward to 2025
As we step into 2025, we’re more excited than ever about the future. We have just booked our tickets to Maison et Objet in January where we look forward to viewing the latest designs across a range of categories such as furniture, lighting, textiles, accessories, and more.
